There are several types of plugs: straight, angled and original non-separable. When choosing plugs, the characteristics of each type should be taken into account. For example, a straight plug is easily pulled out of the player and puts a lot of stress on the plastic socket of the receiver. The corner is also not tight enough in the player.
Instructions
Step 1
Turn on the player and, bending the wire, make sure that the break occurs next to the plug. Then, with a small margin in the right place, cut the cable. You will need a small piece of clear silicone tubing (you can use a dropper tube). Insert the cable into the tube in advance.
Step 2
Cut the plastic of the plug head with a sharp knife and expose the metal part of the plug.
Step 3
Prepare the cable with a sharp knife or soldering iron, separating all the wires. Then twist the appropriate wires and tin the cable. Use an aspirin tablet for tinning the lacquered wires on the budget. Never peel the varnish with a knife, because cuts in the wire will lead to its premature break.
Step 4
Solder the cable to the plug, observing the correct pinout. When phasing your headphones, just keep track of which wires go to which headphones. If there is a round cable from the fork or goes through one earpiece to another, ring the cable with a tester or the player itself. If the cables are of different colors, then the right channel is usually marked in red, and the left channel is usually marked in white, but it also happens vice versa. If you have single-core conductors, then the common wire will be conductors that are not varnished. But in any case, it will be safer to ring the cable with a tester before soldering.
Step 5
the headphones are ready to use.
