CCTV cameras are connected to a power source, as well as a video signal processing device: a recorder, quad or monitor. For this, there are two cables laid in a common box.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the domed camera cover. Attach its flat bottom to the wall and ceiling at the installation site and fix it with two self-tapping screws. If the surface to be installed is made of concrete, use wall plugs.
Step 2
Place the frameless camera on the turntable. Do not use excessive force when tightening the screws, otherwise the board will break. Connect the three wires coming from it to the terminal block located at the bottom. Find out the correspondence of the colors of the wires to their purpose from the instructions.
Step 3
Pan the camera so that the desired area of the room is visible. Do not put the hood on the bottom yet. Run a UTP cable consisting of two twisted pairs from the equipment installation site to the camera. If you are using the more common four-pair cable, it can connect two cameras side by side. Be sure to use a cable duct.
Step 4
Connect the twisted-pair conductors selected as common to the corresponding pin of the terminal block. Connect the remaining free conductor of the pair selected as signal to the output terminal, and the free conductor of the pair selected as power to the input.
Step 5
De-energize all equipment. Connect the common conductor of the power pair to the negative contact of the stabilized 12-volt source, and the remaining one to the positive one. Connect the signal pair to a recorder, quad or monitor, while the common core must be connected to the common wire of the device.
Step 6
Turn on all equipment, including the power supply. If necessary, select the appropriate input on the quad. While looking at the monitor, have your assistant rotate the camera slowly. Adjust the area of the room to be viewed as desired.
Step 7
Place the cap on the camera, and then align the slot on the cap with the lens. Make sure that the camera continues to operate after this, and that the viewable area is not narrowed.
