The engineering menu of the phone is a menu with which you can see information and change settings that are inaccessible by standard methods. In some cases, the commands for calling the service menu are the same, but in most cases each manufacturer sets their own.
Instructions
Step 1
To call the engineering menu in Alcatel phones, enter the combination * # 000000 # on the keyboard. The following commands will become available to you: traces, ctrl charge and damier. With traces you can enter the channel indicator menu, ctrl charge measures the charge and battery voltage, and damier performs a display test.
Step 2
To call the service menu on a Sony Ericsson phone, enter the combination ** 04 * 0000 * 0000 * 0000 # on the keypad. If you turned on the phone without a SIM card, select No at the Wrong Pin request that appears, after which you will have access to the internal menu of the phone. You can also see the firmware version without calling the engineering menu - just enter the combination *
Step 3
When working with a Motorola phone, enter ppp000p1p and click on OK, then restart the device. In some models, you will be able to edit music, for this enter ppp278p1p and click on OK.
Step 4
To enter the service menu of Nokia phones, enter the combination * # 92702689 #. In some cases, you will have access to such functions as improving the speech quality (* 3370 #), deteriorating the speech quality to increase the battery life (# 4720 #), as well as viewing the firmware version using the command * # 0000 #.
Step 5
In Philips phones, to view information about the SIM card, enter the code * # 7378 * #, to view the Closed User Group section in the menu - * # 2847 * #. You can also adjust charging on or off when the charger is connected to the network using the command * # 4377 * #.
Step 6
When using Samsung phones, you can adjust the display using the command * # 0523 #, view the battery status (* # 9998 * 228 #), change the display contrast (* # 9998 * 523 #), and test the vibration alert (* # 9998 * 842 #). Using the combination * # 9998 * VERNAME #, you can view extended information about the phone and firmware.
Step 7
For all models of cell phones, there is a single command for checking a unique IMEI number - for this you need to enter the combination * # 06 #.
