Many modern devices have only buttons on the case, while the basic settings are accessible from a computer. But behind one or two buttons there are service functions. Let's look at entering the service menu using a printer as an example.

Step 1
Click on the button indicated in the documentation on the printer body. As a rule, most models have two main buttons - Start / Stop and On / Off, with which you can enter the printer's service menu.
Step 2
While holding down a button or a combination of buttons, we observe the light indication of the printer. If everything is done correctly, the device will confirm the activation of the service menu by flashing the LEDs, or will display information on the touch screen, if the model is equipped with a similar device. We release the button.
Step 3
We enter, with the help of successive button presses, service commands. The order of entry and their purpose are described in the service documentation.
Step 4
Restart the printer for the changes to take effect. Press the button to turn off the printer and exit the service menu, and then disconnect it from the 220 volt network for 1 minute.
