Modern monitors enable the user to make adjustments to the image and other parameters independently, through the control system. The way to change and adjust the settings is the engineering menu.

Instructions
Step 1
Turn on your TV. Press successively info-menu-mute-power. This combination will fit most PDP and LCD TVs. But some models, especially those up to 23 inches, do not respond to this sequence. They have another combination - MUTE-1-8-2-POWER ON. It should be noted that all these keys must be pressed sequentially and as quickly as possible (no more than 1-2 seconds for everything). If it doesn't work the first time, try again. A window with the "Service Menu" header appears in front of you.
Step 2
Navigate the menu using the control buttons (right, left, down, up). In order to select the section of interest - click the "OK" button. To go to the upper level, press the “Menu” button.
The structure of the engineering menu changes every year, new platforms and firmware are released, but the main parameters remain unchanged:
- Panel On Time - the first line denotes “panel runtime”.
- Ready - turn the DTV tuner on and off (ON and OFF, respectively).
- Option table - does not depend on the input and is responsible for the general settings of the TV.
- Shop Mode - shop mode (ON - disabled, OFF - enabled).
- Dimm Type - information about the matrix that is installed on your model.
- Reset - reset the settings.
Step 3
Make adjustments to the settings. Before doing this, think carefully about whether it is worth it. By changing some parameter incorrectly, you can completely knock down all the settings, after which you will not figure it out without the help of the wizard.
Step 4
Save the settings. If you want to restore the default (factory) settings, run the “Reset” command.
Step 5
Turn off the TV to exit the engineering menu.
Step 6
If, after adjusting the settings, the image deteriorates or other problems occur, go back to the menu and load the default settings (Reset).
