Lenovo unveiled two new smartphones at the MWC Mobile World Congress: K5 and K5 Plus. New items are almost identical, only one of them is slightly older than its twin brother.
Lenovo Vibe K5 and K5 Plus, frankly, have little difference from each other. But still they have two cool distinctive features. This is the screen and the processor. This, perhaps, is all. Since the rest of the characteristics are practically cloned.

The manufacturer did not bother with the design, and therefore smartphones outwardly do not represent anything special. There are a lot of such devices on the market. Plastic with chrome bulging on the sides and a standard set of basic elements. There is a metal cover on the back panel. The heart of Lenovo VIBE K5 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 processor (64-bit, 8 cores) with a frequency of 1.4 GHz.
The Lenovo VIBE K5 Plus is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor (64-bit, 8 cores) with a frequency of 1.5 GHz.
The video accelerator for both smartphones is the same - Adreno 405 up to 550 MHz.
The difference between these two modern gadgets is in the displays. Lenovo VIBE K5 has an IPS display, 5 inches, 1280 x 720 pixels, and Lenovo VIBE K5 Plus has an IPS display, 5 inches, 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The cameras on smartphones are also completely identical. The main camera is 13-megapixel, while the front camera is 5-megapixel. Photos taken with note are of very decent quality. These phones are priced at $ 149. In principle, quite a comfortable price for such a smartphone. And even though the laptop has no design, and these two twin brothers have the same package bundle, they have a fresh Snapdragon 616 platform, good cameras and lack of "lag" makes it still competitive in its segment.
