Meizu MX5E is the fifth generation smartphone of the MX flagship line. The new version of the device turned out to be more affordable than its predecessor in terms of cost - due to the underestimation of technical characteristics.
Design
Meizu MX5E looks very similar to Apple smartphones. It has the same rounded body as the iPhone 5 or 6. But its main resemblance to the Apple flagship family is the oval home button in the center. This button is also responsible for reading the fingerprint.
The location of the control buttons is standard - they are all located on the right side of the device. Usually such an arrangement is inconvenient for a right-handed person, but in this device there are no problems with pressing the thumb. You can even press two buttons at the same time - they are close to each other.
The Meizu case is made of metal, there are plastic inserts at the ends. The device is available in black and silver. The screen occupies almost the entire area of the front of the device and is protected from damage by Gorilla Glass.
Characteristics
Like any flagship, Meizu MX5E is powered by a powerful eight-core Mediatek MT6795 processor, clocked at 2 GHz. For the graphics of the smartphone, the PowerVR G6200 accelerator with a frequency of 700 MHz is responsible. Thanks to this, the phone shows excellent results both in games and in everyday tasks.
For normal multitasking to work in any device, you need a large amount of RAM and Meizu MX 5 meets these requirements. A total of 3 GB of RAM is installed, which is more than enough for a smartphone. The user is allocated 32 GB of permanent memory, but all data will have to fit into this volume - there are no expansion slots.
In the antutu benchmark, the device scores a little more than 51 thousand points.
The main camera of the device with a resolution of 16 megapixels takes pictures at a resolution of 3840 by 2160 pixels. The pictures are quite high quality, although they do not reach the level of cameras. The front camera is suitable for both selfies and video calls. It has a resolution of 5 megapixels and can shoot videos in full HD resolution.
Like any new phone, Meizu MX5E supports the latest generation of wireless technologies such as LTE 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1. To work with maps, there is support for GLONASS and GPS with good accuracy.
The battery of the device with a capacity of 3150 mAh supports the device for up to 6 days in standby mode, but in operation mode it will last for a maximum of 6 hours. Fast charging technology is supported; a standard microUSB connector is used for charging.
In addition to usb, there is also a headphone jack - mini-jack 3, 5mm and 2 connectors for SIM cards in micro-SIM format.
Price
You can buy a device for 10-14 thousand rubles, depending on the region of sale. The price is the same for all versions of the device.
