Explay c300 supports firmware updates to optimize device performance and fix existing bugs. After correct flashing, the device remains fully functional. In the event that some mistakes were made during the firmware process, this can cause malfunctions and deterioration of the player's performance.

Instructions
Step 1
To update the firmware on the Explay c300, log into the system with an administrator account (if multiple users are installed on the computer).
Step 2
Download the firmware from the official site of the device or from well-known forums dedicated to this topic. Also download the Firmware Update Tool, which will be used to update the software.
Step 3
Install the Firmware Update tool using setup.exe according to the instructions of the installer.
Step 4
The program will be installed in the "Program Files" - "Fuzhou Rockchip" - "Firmware Update" folder. Turn off the player. While holding the M key, connect your device to your computer. Hold the button until the new hardware installation window appears.
Step 5
Select "No, not this time", select "Install from a list or specific location". Select "Search for the best driver" and "Include location". Specify the path "C: / Program Files / FuzhouRockship / Firmware update / RockUSB Driver (2K, XP)".
Step 6
After installing the program necessary for the firmware, you can proceed directly to the update process itself. Run the Consummer file from the installed Firmware Update folder. Select "Open" and specify the path to the downloaded firmware file. Click "Update".
Step 7
After the corresponding message about the end of the firmware is displayed, you can disconnect the player from the computer and turn it on (be sure with the headphones connected). After fully starting up, turn off the device again.
Step 8
Format your player using Windows. To do this, after connecting the device, go to "My Computer", right-click on the removable disk icon and click "Format".
