A ringtone is a short music track used as a beep for incoming calls and messages on a cell phone. These devices have a special function of changing the ringtone at the user's choice.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the main menu of your phone and select "Settings". In the phone settings, go to "Audio settings". Here you will find a function to select a melody and set it as a ringtone for incoming calls, messages, reminders and alarms. You can use one of the "native" phone melodies already available in it at the time of purchase.
Step 2
Listen to the tunes in advance and determine which one you like best. If the preview function is not available in the current menu, try opening the downloaded ringtones in the corresponding folder through the file manager in your phone or on your computer by connecting a device to it via USB. Select the appropriate melody in the settings, setting it on all incoming calls or on calls from individual contacts.
Step 3
Download new ringtones to your phone if you don't like any of the already installed in it. This can be done on your computer using the Internet. There are quite a few sites that offer free or paid ringtones downloads.
Step 4
Downloading melodies to the phone is carried out by sending them via a USB cable or in another way specified in the user manual for the device. In addition, you can download new ringtones to your phone using the mobile internet, browser app or store to purchase various content.
Step 5
You can download new sounds to your phone via Bluetooth, infrared, etc. from another person's device, if possible. Please note that self-downloaded ringtones usually appear in a separate list of sound files when you select them from the menu. If you installed them on your phone's memory card, you will need to specify it as their location. Ask someone to call your number to check the sound of the selected ringtone.
