Possessing the skills of working with microcontrollers, the radar can be made independently using microcircuits, a set of wires, an infrared sensor and other devices. You also need to have a diagram for further assembly.
Necessary
skills in working with radio engineering and microcontrollers
Instructions
Step 1
In order to make a short-range radar yourself, use the following diagram. To create it, use a standard voltage regulator, an infrared sensor, a microcontroller of the appropriate type, a 4 or 8 megahertz crystal resonator, a capacitor, a switch, a thirty-pin connector, 5 triggers of the corresponding type, a breadboard, a set of tools for working with wires, solder, 30 wire AWG, 36 indicators, soldering iron.
Step 2
All these devices can be purchased at special points of sale of radio equipment. You also need microcontroller skills. If you don't have one, you simply won't be able to read the diagram.
Step 3
Create a radar chip using the picture from the link above. After that, assemble the device. Select a suitable housing and drill 36 holes in it for the indicators. After the radar circuit is ready, pass each of its wires through the hole in the wall of the case. Connect the infrared sensor and power source to this device, shape the antenna and go to the software part.
Step 4
Perform servo control in the form of interrupts and timers. Generate a 50 hertz signal and then go to the led display device. These indicators are adjusted using triggers. Configure the system to update this data and then display it using an infrared sensor.
Step 5
Also use a converter to determine the voltage. A more detailed scheme of action of such devices is covered in special literature. Test your device, in case of malfunctions, try replacing the component parts of the board.
