Having an archiver on your mobile phone, you can open archives received by e-mail or downloaded from the Internet on the road without using a computer. This can be done in two ways.

Step 1
The first method is available to users of any mobile phones that have a browser or support its installation. It consists in using a virtual archiver. To use it, open a Yandex mailbox. Go to the PDA version of the web interface of this mail service. Enter the mailbox, and then open the received message with the attached archive. If the archive was sent to you in another mailbox, first send it to a mailbox on Yandex. After opening the message, click the "View" button to the right of the archive name. You will see a list of files located in it. After that, any of them can be downloaded separately or viewed. In the second case, be prepared for a lot of traffic, since files of common formats (for example, DOC, PDF) are shown as images. Correctly set the access point (APN), connect an unlimited tariff.
Step 2
For relatively new phones with the Symbian operating system, use the ZIP Manager application built into the firmware to open the archives.
Step 3
For older devices with Symbian OS, where the ZIP Manager application is not included in the firmware, as well as for Android devices, use a third-party program - the X-Plore file manager. Although it is distributed on the Shareware principle, it is officially allowed to use it for an unlimited period and without registration. However, if you wish, support the developer and register the program. After launching it, enter the archive as if it were a simple folder. Then extract the files you need from it.
Step 4
It is inconvenient to create archives using your phone, as opposed to opening them. But in some cases it is possible. If you have such a need, use the last of the methods described above.
