Resetting your phone means returning it to the state in which it was originally released. This should be used when you want to delete all user data from your phone (photos, sounds, videos, applications, games, Internet bookmarks).
Instructions
Step 1
Try the following before formatting your Nokia phone: turn it off, remove it, put the battery in and turn it on, then turn it off and let it sit without battery for about thirty minutes. Turn on the phone without a memory card and sim card. Turn it on with a charger.
Step 2
If these steps did not help you, perform a factory reset. This should only be done if it was not possible to reanimate your phone in other ways and you have no other choice. Perform formatting before selling to clear it completely or when it is severely buggy. A factory reset may resolve the issue.
Step 3
Dial * # 7780 # on your phone to restore your phone to its original settings. All Internet, backlight, display settings will be erased, but information will not be lost. Save all the information you want to use in the future to your computer.
Step 4
Then follow music, photos, pictures, messages) and applications will be removed.
Step 5
Try another method if the previous steps did not change anything or when the phone does not turn on. On the switched off phone, press three keys simultaneously: green (send a call), three and an asterisk.
Step 6
Without releasing these buttons, press the power button of the mobile phone. Then wait until the splash screen appears with the Nokia text or formatting message. This method will also reset the phone to the factory state - applications, content and the file that stores the password of your memory card, if it has been set, will be deleted. When asked to format the phone, enter the password, which is 12345 by default.
