Terminal Services Licensing provides the Terminal Services Licensing service in the Microsoft Windows operating system. The procedure for activating the required service presents no technical difficulties and requires only attention.
Instructions
Step 1
Click the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the system and go to the "Control Panel" item.
Step 2
Select "Administration" and expand the link "Terminal Server Licensing".
Step 3
Call the context menu of the server to be activated by clicking the right mouse button and select the "Properties" item.
Step 4
Specify In Web Browser in the Installation Method field and enter the required credentials in the appropriate fields in the new dialog box.
Step 5
Click the Next button and return to the context menu of the required server.
Step 6
Specify the Activate Server command to invoke the Terminal Server License Server Activation Wizard and select Internet Explorer as the activation method again.
Step 7
Go to https://activate.microsoft.com and select Activate License Server.
Step 8
Re-enter your credentials in the dialog box that appears and click Next to access the License Server Code page.
Step 9
Copy the received code into the corresponding field of the wizard and click the "Next" button.
Step 10
Select the Run CAL Wizard Now check box and click Next to confirm the run command.
Step 11
Read the information in the dialog box that opens and click the "Next" button.
Step 12
Go back to activate.microsoft.com and click Yes on the line Do You wish to install lisence tokens at this timt?
Step 13
Re-enter the identification data and click the "Next" button.
Step 14
Enter Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server Per Device Client Access License in the Product Type section, the number of licenses purchased in the Quantity section, and your Microsoft agreement number in the Agreement Number field.
Step 15
Click the Next button and confirm your choice by clicking the Next button again.
Step 16
Define the required code number for CAL activation in the opened dialog box (7 groups of 5 digits) and copy it into the wizard window.
Step 17
Click the "Next" button to execute the command and confirm the application of the changes by clicking the "Finish" button.
