The person location services offered by cellular operators are not accurate enough. Using satellite navigation, you can determine the coordinates of, say, a child much more accurately. You will only have to pay for unlimited Internet access.

Step 1
Select a navigation device (tracker) that the person whose location you want to determine will carry with him. Stylish trackers without controls are suitable for athletes whose sport is associated with movement in space (runners, skiers, cyclists, climbers). With the help of such a device, after training, you can see your own route on the computer screen, and if an athlete is in danger, colleagues can find it. It is better to give a child a special children's tracker phone or a device built into the watch. The latter of these devices sends an alarm to parents when they try to unfasten the bracelet. The detection accuracy will be further improved if the device supports reception of signals from GLONASS satellites.
Step 2
First, install the SIM-card that you want to use with the tracker into a regular mobile phone. Find on the operator's website a USSD command designed to connect the cheapest tariff for unlimited Internet access. Enter this command and wait for the message that the service is connected.
Step 3
Move the card to the tracker. Charge it, then find the instructions for controlling it in the instructions. Send a command from another phone to set the access point (APN). From another phone, send this command to the tracker along with the point name. The latter should start not with the word wap, but with the word internet, for example, internet.mts.ru, internet.beeline.ru. For the exact value of this parameter, contact the operator's support service.
Step 4
Now send another command to set the username and password to access the device. Make sure to choose a complex password. If a child will carry the tracker with him, do not give him the login details. An athlete, who is himself interested in determining his own location, this data can be communicated.
Step 5
Go to the site specified in the instructions for the device. Enter your username and password. Bring the tracker to the window and wait until its location is determined. After checking the work of the tracker, you can give it to the person whose location you want to determine. After that, all that remains is to replenish the account of the SIM-card installed in the tracker in time and charge its battery.
