Therefore, it becomes necessary to increase or decrease the sound volume, microphone level, etc., that is, to customize the phone for yourself.

Step 1
Customize your phone using the menu. This method is the most effective, however, for those who are not familiar with electronic equipment, it is better to entrust the phone to specialists. Each phone has an engineering settings menu. A special code is used to enter it, which is different for different phone models. Usually this code is known to specialists or you can find it on the Internet.

Enter the code on the keyboard and enter the engineering menu of your phone. Find the sections responsible for sound: "audio", then "normal mode", then "speech". Following this, you will see a list of levels, from 0 to 6. These are the speaker volume levels. Remember, or better write down the initial parameters. The volume levels are set in the range from 175 to 255, in steps of 10 units. This means that Volume 0 will have a value of 175, and Volume 6 - 255. It is not recommended to set a larger value.

Please note that if you change the phone volume settings, you will need to change the microphone sensitivity settings. Moreover, the microphone parameters are configured in opposite values. The higher the volume level, the lower the microphone sensitivity. Otherwise, the microphone will start to echo, you will hear yourself or other unpleasant effects. After successfully setting the desired volume, press OK, then save the updates. Restart your phone (turn off and then on).

Sometimes such a setting is unacceptable, some phones cannot be reconfigured in the engineering menu. In this case, there are special computer programs for customizing the phone. Such programs are also produced by phone manufacturers. They can be found in communication services or on the Internet. Download the program to your computer. Connect your phone with a USB cable to your computer. Following the program commands, enter the phone volume settings menu, change the parameters according to your requirements. Usually programs for settings have a completely accessible and understandable interface, so they do not cause difficulties for users.
