The smartphone version of Adobe Flash Player is called Flash Lite. It allows you to view almost all SWF files located on the memory card, and in some devices it is also integrated into the browser, similar to how it happens on a computer.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure that the Internet access point (APN) is configured correctly on your phone - its name should start not on wap, but on the internet. Also, make sure that you are in the same region where you bought the SIM card installed in the device. Connect the cheapest unlimited data transfer tariff if you haven't already.
Step 2
In some smartphones, Flash Lite is included in the factory firmware. Check its presence by downloading any SWF file with the phone's browser (built-in or third-party) and trying to run this file with the built-in file manager of the device. If it starts, nothing needs to be installed.
Step 3
Use the built-in browser of your phone to the page indicated below. Attempting to download Flash Lite from your computer will not succeed: you will be prompted to download a version of the plugin designed for Linux or Windows. If you try to use third-party programs installed on your smartphone to download the file, the model of the device may not be correctly detected.
Step 4
Download the installation file for the program: for Symbian - SIS or SISX format, for Android - APK, and for Windows Mobile - CAB. Flash Lite is not available for J2ME, iPhone and Windows Phone 7 platforms.
Step 5
If the installation does not start automatically, run the installation file with the built-in file manager of your smartphone. If you have a third-party X-Plore file manager, you can use it, but you will have to use the "Open in system" menu item. Then answer yes to all questions, and if you are prompted to choose the installation location (phone memory or SD card), choose the second option.
Step 6
If Flash Lite does not integrate with the browser in your phone model, this does not mean that you will not be able to watch videos on YouTube. Go to the mobile version of this portal (using any browser available on your phone), select the video and follow the link "Watch the video". The Real Player program built into the firmware (if available) will start, and you will be able to watch the video in it.
