Instructions
Step 1
First of all, check the availability of the "Mobile Internet" option in your phone. To do this, go to the menu. If you see the Internet tab accompanied by a globe, be sure your phone model is set to use wap / gprs.
Step 2
Call the operator on the short number 0890 to clarify the Internet settings. First of all, you must be sure that a service such as GPRS is included in the list of connected options. When buying a SIM card, this option is automatically connected, but if you disconnected it before, you will have to connect it back.
Step 3
Set up your phone to go online. To do this, go to the mobile menu, find "Settings". In the list that opens, select "Configuration". Click the Standard Configuration Settings tab. Find your MTS account and make it active.
Step 4
If you do not find your mobile operator's account in the list, create one yourself. To do this, go to "Personal configuration parameters" and add a new profile, the name of which will sound like this: MTS Internet. In the item "Data channel" select GPRS. Name the access point internet.mts.ru, and the username and password mts. Save your changes and make the account active. Reboot your phone.
Step 5
You can also get automatic Internet settings, which you just have to save. To do this, go to the website https://www.mts.ru/help/settings/settings_phone/. Enter your phone number. The settings will come to you as a service message.
Step 6
If for some reason you are unable to set up your phone yourself, contact the customer service center. You can check the addresses of the offices through the contact center.
