The owner of a cell phone may be faced with the need to unlock the device both in the event of a loss of the lock code, which serves to protect the phone or SIM card, and in the case of the factory lock of the phone under one operator and the impossibility of using it in other networks. Depending on the type of blocking, one of the following unblocking methods must be followed.

Step 1
If your SIM card is blocked after entering the PIN code incorrectly three times, find the plastic card that originally contained your SIM card. It should have a pin code printed on it, as well as pack codes used to unlock the phone when locked after an incorrect PIN code entry. If the specified pack codes do not work or you entered them incorrectly and the SIM card is completely blocked, contact your operator's representative to replace the SIM card. If the SIM card was issued for you, take your passport with you, if you were not connected, then the owner of the SIM card must come to the office in person, taking his passport with him.

If your phone was locked due to an incorrect phone security code, contact your phone manufacturer's representative or flash the device. The dealership will tell you the codes for resetting the settings to the factory defaults, as well as codes for resetting the firmware and returning it to the factory state. You can also reflash the phone yourself or by contacting a service center. Keep in mind that all your personal data will be lost when resetting and flashing.
Step 3
When factory-locked for a specific operator, contact the manufacturer for an unlock code. In 90% of cases, the required code will be provided to you, otherwise you will need to reflash your phone. If you doubt your abilities, contact the service center, where you can both unlock the phone hardware and reflash it. In case you bought a phone abroad, you can also install a Russian-language keyboard.
