Step 1
Getting a good navigator is now quite troublesome. This is due to its rather high cost. But there is a way out, the car enthusiast can put the navigator on his phone if it has a special gps function. It is simply impossible to put a navigator on phones without this parameter.
Step 2
Download the Garmin Mobile XT app to your phone. It is important to know that the application exists in several versions and you need to download the one that will match your phone model. This program will make it possible to use a simple mobile phone as a gps navigator.
Step 3
Install Garmin Mobile XT on your phone. To do this, connect the phone to a personal computer or laptop using a special cable or the Bluetooth function in the "Data transfer" mode. Download and install the Garmin Mobile XT software on your phone first, and then all the files that come with it.
Step 4
Disconnect your phone from your PC or laptop and check if the application appears in the phone menu. If your application is not in the phone programs, try to install it manually. To do this, go to the memory card to the place where the program was copied, and run the GarminMobileXT.sis file there. Restart your phone.
Step 5
Run the application after installation, select the required program language at startup and its settings. Search your phone for maps so that you can download them. There are several types of maps for the installed application - in the form of a file with the *.img extension or as a *.exe file packed into an archive, which will subsequently contain several subfiles.
Step 6
All maps should be in the root park of the program, and their names should be located as follows - Gmapbmap.img - basemap; Gmapsupp.img (map number 1); Gmapsup2.img (map # 2), etc. The first two folders must be present.
Step 7
Rename the cards according to the above names if they exist under different names. Launch Garmin Unlock Generator and you will be able to download maps intended for the navigator into your phone.
Step 8
Click on the "Select Map" button at the bottom of the program and enter the map code. Click Generate to run the generation. Copy the resulting code into a plain text file and give it the same name as for the map. Specify the extension *.uni.
Step 9
Copy all maps and their additional files to your Nokia phone to your Garmin folder. Run the application. Check your navigation.
