Performing the operation of uninstalling an installed application on smartphones does not require deep knowledge of the operating system resources and OS hacking skills. The procedure can be carried out both by standard system tools and by specialized third-party programs.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the main menu of the device and go to the "Settings" item to initiate the operation of removing the installed application from the smartphone system.
Step 2
Select the "Applications" item and expand the "Application Manager" item ("Application Management" for smartphones running on the Android platform).
Step 3
Select the application to uninstall and press Options.
Step 4
Specify the "Delete" command and click "Select".
Step 5
Confirm the execution of the command by clicking the "Yes" button in the request window that opens and wait for the system message about the successful completion of the operation.
(The disadvantage of this method is that all applications are displayed in the menu, including pre-installed ones, which cannot be deleted).
Step 6
Use file managers ESTrongs File Explorer or ASTRO File Manager to perform uninstallation of installed applications. Most application management tools have a dedicated uninstall utility available in the program menu. Preinstalled applications are not displayed.
Step 7
Choose the dedicated uninstaller programs AppInstaller or Uninstaller, which can display only user-installed applications and perform a one-click cleanup.
Step 8
Go to the “My Applications” tab, designed to store programs installed from the Android-market, to remove the selected applications using standard system tools (for devices running on the Android platform).
Step 9
Use the full access to system resources, granting Root rights to access the / system file containing standard applications for uninstalling preinstalled programs using Root Explorer.
Step 10
Find the files created by the uninstalled applications and delete them.
