At the moment, mobile versions of sites and forums are gaining more and more popularity among users of smartphones and communicators, however, information on them is not always provided in the required volume.
Instructions
Step 1
Download any HTML editor if it was not previously installed on your computer. This can be Adobe Dreamweaver, Web Development Studio, HTML Editor, or special text editing programs created specifically for easy work with code, such as Notepad ++.
Step 2
Use the easiest way to remove the mobile version of the site - delete the mobile directory. To do this, find in your editor a folder with the appropriate name in the root directory of the site and delete it. Make a preliminary copy of the source together with the mobile version. This method is simple, but it has its drawbacks - it does not work in every case, and sometimes the site is simply unavailable from mobile devices, since the browser is automatically redirected to the page of the mobile version, which no longer exists.
Step 3
After deleting the directory, check if the browser automatically switches to its mobile version when entering the main site. If the problem disappears in the future, leave everything unchanged, but if an error appears, use an alternative method of replacing the values from the file in the root directory, after which the mobile device browser should immediately download the regular version.
Step 4
Open the Widget.class.php file in the root directory of the site. On about 70 lines, find $ this-> mobile_user = true; replace true with false, after which the mobile version is deactivated. Save this change, after which the mobile version will become inactive. Here you do not need to use a special program for editing web pages; you just need to open this file in standard Windows Notepad and fix the code.
