It is necessary to understand the type of power supply of the player. Today there are 2 of them:
1) Powered by AA / AAA battery / rechargeable battery.
2) powered by a built-in battery.
In the first case, we have a player, on the back of which there is a connector where you can insert an ordinary "finger" or "little finger" battery (AA or AAA, respectively). It is strictly forbidden to charge an ordinary battery, because it threatens its leakage and loss of useful properties, such as the retention time. It is recommended to use rechargeable batteries of the same size for the players, not AA / AAA batteries.
In the second case, the player is equipped with a non-removable battery, which has a longer service life than a rechargeable battery, but if the charge holding time becomes extremely low, it will be impossible to avoid the service center.

How do I charge a particular type of player?
There are 3 charging options for players with rechargeable battery:
1) Charge the player directly with the battery inserted from the computer USB port
2) Charging the battery outside the player from a third-party charger.
3) Charge of the inserted battery in the player from the network USB - adapter.
The first two methods are the most popular because the output current from the USB port of the computer does not exceed 600 mA, which allows you to safely charge the battery, and you can always take a third-party charger with you and plug it into the outlet at any convenient time, while the charge rate in the second case will be higher. The third method is risky, and this is due to the fact that this or that adapter is designed for what output current. On average, this indicator varies from 400 mA to 1200 mA. In the first case, charging will be extremely slow, in the second, charging will take place quickly, but the time of using the player will be significantly reduced. For players with a built-in battery, only the first and third ways of charging the battery are possible.
