The flagships Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus are absolutely similar and differ only in screen sizes. Along with the positive qualities, these modern devices have a number of significant disadvantages.
In April 2017, the South Korean company Samsung launched two flagship phone models, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. This line has positive characteristics, but along with this, consumers have found many disadvantages of these smartphones.
Disadvantages of flagships
One of the first drawbacks in these models is the inconvenient location of the fingerprint scanner. It is located to the right of the camera and is quite close to it. This increases the risk of getting your finger into the camera instead of the scanner. You can, of course, refuse to use the scanner in the end. And an alternative to this is unlocking a mobile device using the retina of the eye or the face of the owner of the phone. But when using this gadget, it turns out that this function does not work so well. The phone can be deceived by substituting just a photo of the owner, and the lock is thereby removed.
The second unpleasant nuance, the owners of the phones noted that the display of this model is frankly red. And this moment cannot be adjusted in the settings, although the manufacturers say the opposite, considering such statements to be the usual whims of a spoiled consumer.
The third gap of these flagships is the fact that their voice assistant Bixby does not know the Russian language. What a strange moment, really. Or is it some trick of the manufacturer. The other Bixby languages are familiar, but on an absolutely primitive level. We can conclude that the voice assistant for these models is an obvious failure.
The battery of data of mobile devices has also pumped up with its small capacity. What is always important is the "survivability" of the gadget. And the newcomers have distinguished themselves with one more significant drawback. This is a hybrid SIM card slot. For those who are used to working with the phone in a busy mode, this will not be enough.
As for the camera, there is nothing to be happy about here either. And all because evolution never happened to her. It is good and of high quality, and nothing more. It would be possible for the Samsung to install a dual camera, as its direct competitors successfully do. And that would be a step forward. After all, experience shows that a dual camera several times allows you to expand the capabilities of the gadget.

And, of course, the most important negative aspect of the flagship line is the cost of these mobile devices. The version of the Samsung Galaxy S8 is offered from 46 thousand rubles, and its "brother" with the Plus prefix is already from 49 thousand rubles. There are no particular differences between these two smartphones. After all, they are analogues, unless the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus version has a larger screen. Therefore, here you only need to take into account your own taste, since the price gap is not so great. The classic black color of the device makes it a real brutal gadget.
