Any gamer knows that a joystick is much more convenient than a keyboard and mouse for controlling game objects. This is not surprising, because if the keyboard was developed mainly for entering text, and the mouse for working in the graphical shell of the operating system, then the joystick was invented and improved precisely for the most convenient control of all kinds of ships, airplanes, cars and heroes in a variety of games.
However, not every game offers the ability to use a joystick. In the settings of some of them, this option is not provided. But even in this case, the happy owners of the joystick have a way out: there are programs that allow using the joystick to emulate keystrokes on the keyboard. This will allow you to use a comfortable joystick, while the game will be completely confident that the gamer continues to press the keyboard keys. For example, they allow you to play games with a joystick that do not support it, such as programs such as Xpadder or JoyToKey. Using them is not difficult:
- After installation, launch the program and connect the joystick to the computer.
- For the joystick, you need to create a profile in which its configuration will be stored
- We set the correspondence of the joystick buttons and keyboard keys that will be emulated.

If the game supports control using a joystick or other game pad, configuration is also required. In this case, in the game itself, it is necessary to indicate that the joystick is present in the system, as well as to set the value of the buttons and controls - the actions that will correspond to them in the game process. In the settings of any game, such an item exists, and allows you to set various control parameters using the joystick. After completing the settings and saving the parameters, you can start playing with a convenient game pad.
