Step 1
See the size of the sensor in the camera that you want to purchase. A matrix is a semiconductor wafer made up of many pixels. Basically, the quality of the image depends on its size. The larger it is, the more light enters, the less noise it gives. In addition to size, you need to pay attention to the resolution of the matrix. Resolution says how many pixels the matrix consists of, and, therefore, what size one pixel has. The smaller the pixel, the less light hits it, hence the noise. But the pixel should not be large either, otherwise the image will look like a mosaic with large grain. Another important characteristic of the matrix is sensitivity (ISO). The higher the light sensitivity of the camera, the clearer it will be in low light conditions.

Choose a lens. The main characteristic of the lens is the photopower. The clarity, sharpness and absence of distortion in future photographs depend on it. Lenses are divided into telephoto and wide-angle. Long-focus lenses allow you to photograph distant objects, wide-angle lenses take panoramic shots. When buying, please note that the lens and camera body must be of the same brand, otherwise they may not fit together.
Step 3
See if your DSLR has an optical stabilizer. It eliminates blurry shots from hand shake when taking photographs. There are two options for stabilization: built into the camera lens or built inside the camera based on sensor shift. The second is considered better, since it becomes possible to use any optics.
Step 4
Pay attention to the shutter speed and digital processing speed. Simple SLR cameras take 3 frames per second, professional ones - about 8 frames per second.
