Instructions
Step 1
Set up the FM transmitter in your navigator using the Glofiish brand as an example. It is capable of transmitting sound from 76 to 107 MHz. Set the broadcast frequency to the same as on the radio. To configure the transmitter on your communicator, turn on the dedicated app.
Step 2
To do this, go to the "Start" menu, select "Programs" - Multimedia - FM-Transmitter. Switch on the headset, it is required for the transmitter to work in the same way as for the radio. Otherwise, an error message will appear on the screen of the device and the transmitter will turn off.
Step 3
Find Screen Off in the program window, this is the command to turn off the screen, and below it is the current frequency. Click on it and tweak it manually by setting the desired frequency. Then click on the volume level to change it. On the right, click the Change Band option to change the frequency band.
Step 4
At the bottom, find the Start buttons to get started. And also Auto Scan. Perform auto tune to find the channels you can listen to. This will be needed to find a free frequency in order to tune the broadcast of the transmitter.
Step 5
Set the frequency of the transmitter, it should be the same as on the car radio. The signal strength of the navigator is rather weak, so the transmitter will not be able to interrupt the radio station. Therefore, both the station and the sound of the switch often play at the same time. So find a free frequency.
Step 6
Next, turn on the desired audio file (book, music) or navigation. The sound will be transmitted to the car speakers, which is convenient when there is no player in the car. Please note when using the speakerphone on your navigator that the headset is used as a microphone. The main advantage of using a transmitter is that the sound will be regulated according to the priority of the source. For example, if the phone receives an incoming call, the volume of the music will be reduced automatically.
