More and more often you can find films or other video clips of high quality. FullHD is supported by most LCD and Plasma TVs. It is not surprising that true connoisseurs of high quality images do not want to watch their favorite movies on a computer monitor. They connect the TV to the PC.
It is necessary
- video cable
- adapter
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure you can use this TV instead of a monitor. Check for specific cable ports that carry video signals. There are two types of channels: digital and analog. Digital formats include HDMI and DVI ports. This means that if you have one of these connectors on your PC and TV, you can connect your devices using a DVI-HDMI cable and adapter. Analog formats include VGA, S-Video, and 5-link component cable. The computer may only have VGA or S-Video ports.
Step 2
Purchase the required cable and adapter (if necessary). Turn on your computer and make sure the operating system is fully loaded. Connect the TV to the computer's video card using a pre-prepared cable.
Step 3
When connecting multiple monitors or TVs to a computer, there are two options for distributing the signal between them. You can display the same picture on both screens, or you can combine screens, thereby expanding the desktop area. Open display properties and go to the "Options" tab. Depending on your decision, select Screen Expansion or Mirroring.
