Instructions

Step 1

The first step is to move the carriage to the position for replacing cartridges, and then unplug the printer from the mains. Now you can disassemble the printer and remove the cartridges, and then proceed to disassemble the carriage with the printheads located on it.

Step 2

First you need to find the fasteners that hold the contact group of the cartridge, then disconnect the entire group from the wire loop. Typically, a contact group has two mounts. Only after detachment can the cartridge contact group be removed. Before disconnecting the loop of wires, you should pay attention to the fact that there are only two of them, and they are different. The first train is wide, it is he who connects to the contact group. It also has to be turned off. There is no need to disconnect the second narrow loop; moreover, it is not so easy to do it.

Step 3

Now it's time to unscrew all the screws and bolts that hold the printhead to the mounts and the mounts to the carriage.

Step 4

Before removing the printhead, you need to turn it off. A special small strip on the head serves to protect the loop and all contacts from damage. The bar is supported by fasteners that are easy to open.

Step 5

After the strip is removed, it remains to disconnect the loops, and now you can remove the printhead.
