Many TV stands are quite problematic to remove, in particular, it concerns some Philips and Toshiba models. If you encounter certain difficulties in this process, it would be useful to review the user manual again.
It is necessary
- - crosshead screwdriver;
- - instruction.
Instructions
Step 1
Turn your TV upside down, preferably on a soft, flat surface. Examine the TV stand mount; if there are any bolts on it, unscrew them with a suitable Phillips screwdriver. Please note that if you use a larger screwdriver, you may damage the fasteners and it will be quite problematic to find bolts of suitable size in the future.
Step 2
Check your TV stand for any latches on the sides below the screen itself behind the front panel. This type of stand installation is typical for some Toshiba TV models. Be extremely careful not to damage the structure, as otherwise you will have to order a new stand, and the one you need may not be available. It can be difficult to film if this is your first time doing it.
Step 3
If the design of the TV mount and stand has a dedicated button, press it and, while holding the screen, carefully remove the stand. Usually, this is how the stands are removed from older Samsung TVs.
Step 4
Carefully study the user manual - on its first pages, find a detailed sketch of the scheme for removing the stand from the TV. If you do not have the manual for any reason, go to the manufacturer's official website, search for your TV model and download the instructions.
Step 5
Please note that in some cases you will need to enter a serial number. After confirmation, you will be provided with a link to download the instructions, or it will be sent to you on the specified e-mail box. Please use Acrobat Reader to read the instructions.
