Nokia uses a security certification system in its mobile devices to filter out potentially dangerous software. Applications signed with a certificate get the opportunity to independently perform any actions. An unsigned application will each time ask for the user's permission to access the FS or connect to the Internet. Over time, this becomes annoying and such requests often interfere with the functioning of the installed program.
It is necessary
- - SISSigner or Signsis;
- - personal certificate
Instructions
Step 1
To sign the application on Nokia smartphones, you can use the special SISSigner program. Sometimes the OS of the device simply does not allow you to install the required application, so this utility should always be at hand. Download the archive with the program and extract it to a folder convenient for you.
Step 2
Run the SISSigner installation file and proceed with the installation according to the installer's recommendations. At the end of the installation, copy the "cert" folder from the archive, and paste it into the folder with the installed program.
Step 3
Get a personal certificate using the allnokia service. Go to the corresponding page and enter the IMEI of your phone, which is indicated on the back cover of the phone or available by dialing the number "* # 06 #". Within 24 hours you will receive your own certificate, which will be used to sign all programs.
Step 4
Copy the received certificate and key to the SISSinger folder. Put the applications that need to be signed there.
Step 5
Run SISSigner.exe. In the program window, specify the path to the key and certificate that you copied to the folder. Enter the password for the key file (usually 12345678). Indicate the program to be signed. Click the "Sign" button.
Step 6
The application is signed. Now copy it to your phone and install it using Ovi Suite (PCSuite), or just drop it on a USB flash drive and install it directly from your device.
Step 7
Symbian applications can be signed using Signsis. Copy the application files to the folder with the unpacked certificate and key.
Step 8
Rename the certificate file to cert.cer and name the key cert.key.
Step 9
Open the install1.bat file with notepad and change the value of the “set password1” line to the key password (12345678). Change the path to the program folder in the directives "set disk_ins" (the disk where the folder is located) and "set app_path" (absolute path without a disk). For example: set disk_ins = C:
set app_path = nokia / signsis
Step 10
Save the file and run install1.bat. Right-click on the application you want to sign. If all the settings have been made correctly, the "Sign with a personal certificate" menu will pop up. After clicking on this item, a signed program will appear in the folder next to the file. Install it on your smartphone.
