The RAM of a smartphone, like that of a computer, requires cleaning, especially if a large number of applications have been launched. Many programs leave unnecessary "tails", which later remain in memory and affect the speed of the device. To remove unnecessary files from the RAM, special utilities are used.
It is necessary
- - KillMe;
- - Free Memory;
- - RAM Cleaner
Instructions
Step 1
For the Symbian platform, there is a special KillMe application that allows you to manage even running system applications. Processes that can be safely unloaded are marked with "*".
Step 2
Download the program from the developer's official website and install it on your phone. Run the utility and in the first tab go to "Menu" - "Close All". To remove system processes, go to the appropriate tab.
Step 3
Android OS manages its own RAM well. The task manager built into the device automatically "kills" all unused tasks after a certain period of time. When you press the Home button of the device, the phone saves the application settings to the hard drive, unloading applications from the RAM. When you return to this application, it is loaded again into temporary storage, and then the saved state is loaded until the last exit. When the device's memory is overloaded, the built-in manager automatically "kills" useless processes.
Step 4
A large number of resource-intensive applications and games have been developed for the iPhone, which take up a lot of RAM. To free it, you can use the FreeMemory and MemoryStatus task managers.
Step 5
When you start FreeMemory, you will be shown a graph with the state of your device's RAM. Memory Status allows you to clear memory in two steps. First, the Safari.app process is removed and some of the temporary storage is freed. The second step removes Mail.app, iPod.app, freeing up even more space.
Step 6
The shutdown of applications in Windows Mobile is not always correct, there are some kind of "leaks" of memory. In order not to reboot the device every time, use the RAM Cleaner utility, which will clean the used services at a specified frequency. It is especially important to use this program if you often use navigation software and "heavy" games.
