Bluetooth wireless technology is very popular among active users of mobile and computer communications. iPhone has built-in Bluetooth connectivity that allows you to work with other applications after you set up a connection.
Instructions
Step 1
Select the "Settings" icon with the image of a gear on the main page of your device and go to the "General" section.
Step 2
Point to Bluetooth and open the slider lock to turn on the Bluetooth function.
Step 3
Turn on the device and make sure the iPhone is in discoverable mode to establish a connection with another Bluetooth device. Please keep in mind that the detection range of available Iphone devices is about 3 meters.
Step 4
Wait for the desired device to be found and identified.
Step 5
Enter the name of the selected device on the screen of your device and click "Pair".
Step 6
Enter the four-digit iPhone passcode found in the User Guide.
Step 7
Click the Create Connection button to complete the pairing process.
Step 8
Click the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the system and go to the "Network" item to create a Bluetooth connection between your computer and iPhone.
Step 9
Select "Create a new Bluetooth connection" and wait until the search for all available Bluetooth devices is complete.
Step 10
List your iPhone in the list of discovered devices and click the Add button.
Step 11
Wait for the access code to appear on the computer screen and the special fields for entering the code on the iPhone screen.
Step 12
Enter the passcode provided by the computer into the corresponding fields on the iPhone screen and wait for the computer name to appear on the device screen.
Step 13
Specify the computer name as the paired device and perform the necessary actions (sync files, listen to music, or watch videos) on the iPhone.
Step 14
Move the slider lock to the Off position to shut down Bluetooth on your iPhone.
Step 15
Use the iBluetooth program, available as a trial download in the Cydia app store, to expand the functionality and simplify the management of Bluetooth file transfer (only for devices with a previous jailbreak).
