For the convenience of customs clearance of goods, it is best to contact an experienced broker, but it is possible that the services of a broker may exceed the cost of the goods itself. In this case, it is better to do customs clearance yourself.
Instructions
Step 1
Enter your phone number on the customs declaration. If you bring only one phone into the country, you can register it as purchased for your own needs, then you will not have to pay customs duty for it. To clear a mobile phone through customs, you need to indicate in the declaration, in addition to its model and the name of the manufacturer, also the IMEI code, in order for the mobile phone to work correctly on the territory of the state where it is imported. Then, in order for the IMEI of the phone to get into the database of the state center of radio frequencies, you need to contact the aforementioned institution with a statement in the established form.
Step 2
Save your purchase receipt to clear your phone through customs. This is necessary primarily in order for law enforcement agencies to make sure that the mobile phone was purchased legally and is also imported legally. It doesn't matter whether you import a mobile phone yourself or received it in a parcel, one way or another, for safe customs clearance, you will need a receipt confirming payment. A bank transaction receipt is also suitable if you settled by bank transfer.
Step 3
Pay customs duty. This is necessary if you want to import and clear more than two mobile phones through customs. Currently, the customs duty on mobile phones imported from Europe is 30 euros per piece. If we are talking about a large batch of mobile phones, you will need some more documents, such as an invoice from the supplier and a contract.
Step 4
Please note that the receipt of payment (if it is provided by the contract) has not been canceled. By and large, the process of customs clearance of one mobile phone should not take you much time. You can also contact the broker who "ate the dog" on such cases, but keep in mind that his services cost money.
