The address book is used in various programs and services. It contains certain contacts for communication for personal purposes and work. Over time, it becomes necessary to cleanse it.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the "Address Book" of your phone. Many cellular models allow you to do this right from the main menu. If you want to completely clear the list of friends and acquaintances from the address book, then click on the "Delete all" tab, specify the method of deletion (from your phone or SIM card) and confirm your operation.
Step 2
Wait for the device to execute the command. This process can take several minutes or a couple of seconds, depending on the filling of the list. Do not touch it until cleaning is complete. If you need to delete certain contacts, you can do this individually by erasing a previously configured group.
Step 3
Use your email inbox to delete unwanted contacts. Moreover, this type of cleaning will depend on where you registered your mailing address and how this function is carried out in this system.
Step 4
Log into your contacts, where the entire list of users with whom you have communicated and added here is located. For a complete cleanup, click "Clear Address Book". If you need to mark specific users, click the "Remove Selected" option. You can remove multiple users at once.
Step 5
Open the group classification and specify the one you no longer need. Go into it. There is a Group Settings tab above the contact list. Then open it and select the "Delete group" option. Confirm your actions by clicking "OK". Perhaps, the operations performed did not help to clear the list of contacts in the address book. In this case, you can contact the support service of your mail server.
Step 6
Use Microsoft Office Outlook. To do this, open the "Service" and go to the "Account Settings" submenu. Then click on "Address Books" and specify the list of contacts that you want to clear.
Step 7
Click the Delete tab and the Finish button. After that, you need to restart the program and check the absence of the specified interlocutors in the address book.
