Each of us is familiar with this unpleasant feeling when you have to search for a site that you just accidentally closed for a long time.
But to restore closed tabs, each browser has special key combinations. So how do you open a closed browser tab?
The easiest way to open a closed tab is to press the key combination Ctrl + T or Ctrl + Shift + T. You can restore a closed tab in this way in almost all browsers - Opera, Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer.
For happy owners of Apple computers, opening closed tabs in Safari is possible by pressing CMD + Z keys.
Opera also has a Recycle Bin, which stores the history of closed tabs. You can find it on the right side of the control panel.
In IE 9, there is another way to open closed tabs. Open a new tab, select Reopen Closed Tabs in the lower left corner of the menu and select the tab you want.
Google Chrome users can install the Trash Can extension - an analogue of the trash can, which stores the last closed tabs.
Owners of Apple iPad tablets can restore closed tabs by holding down the "+" button next to the address bar of the Safari browser for a couple of seconds. This feature is not yet available for iPhone owners.
And, of course, you can restore a closed tab in any browser using the "History" menu, where a list of all viewed pages is stored. This menu can be invoked by pressing the Ctrl + H keys.
