Step 1
Some phones have built-in video editing software. If it is available on your phone, launch it, open the desired video file and find in the program the item "Flip video 90 °" or "Flip video 180 ° clockwise / counterclockwise". Save your changes.

When a similar program is not installed on your phone, use the capabilities of your computer. Beginning with Windows 2000, there is a useful Windows Movie Maker application included by default. If it is not installed, go to the Microsoft website and download the correct version for your OS. Connect the phone to the computer with a USB cable and copy the desired video files.

Launch Movie Maker, open the file. Find the Effects tab and the Rotate 90, 180, 270 ° options. Apply the effect, then save it to your computer in AVI or WMV format. You can also save the project file if you want to modify or add effects to the footage.

Video editing requires your system to contain video codecs, such as the K-Lite package. If there are no codecs, the video recorded on the phone (usually in AVI, MPEG, 3GP, MP4 formats) may not be read on the computer. If your phone came with a video transcoding program (Converter), use it. Free and readable on all computers, the format is MPEG-1 and uncompressed AVI file.

If you don't want to edit videos, use the capabilities of your video player. Depending on the version and manufacturer, find the "View" tab ("Playback", "Playback options"), then the item "Rotate screen". For example, in the popular multi-format player KMPlayer, you can flip the video by right-clicking on the screen. On the shortcut menu, find the Basic Videos tab, then select Screen Rotation (CCW). In the selected list, set the required screen rotation value.
