Sticking a protective film on a mobile phone display is not an easy task for a beginner. After all, it is necessary that such a film lay flat on the surface of the screen and stay there for a long time. To do it right, use some simple guidelines.
It is necessary
- - mobile phone;
- - protective film for the phone screen;
- - means for cleaning the display surface;
- - ruler or calendar (optional).
Instructions
Step 1
Before applying the film to your phone, remove any accumulated dust, crumbs and prints from the screen surface. For this, it is best to use special means. Wipes are ideal for cleaning the computer monitor screen. Unlike cotton wool, other wipes or fabrics, they do not leave lint or streaks on the display. If you use alcohol, the display surface of your mobile phone can be severely damaged.
Step 2
When you wipe the screen, hold the back of the unit. It is best to place your phone on a dry and clean surface, such as a windowsill. The room should be free of dust, as it will quickly settle on a damp display.
Step 3
To stick the screen protector on your mobile phone, take it out of the packaging and place it in a dry and clean place. You may find protective stickers on the film. They should not be removed immediately. First, look at the inscriptions that are on them. They are marked with numbers (1 and 2) so that it is clear which side to glue the film on.
Step 4
Place your mobile phone in front of you. To properly adhere the film to it, first attach its right side to the display. Then carefully, trying not to leave a mark on the film itself, peel back the protective sticker. This is required to be done not in width, but in length.
Step 5
Place the unprotected edge of the film over the display. Do this slowly, carefully applying the film so that it lies flat. See how well it adheres to the edge of the display. Correct it carefully if required. Try to ensure that the film immediately falls into place clearly: if you glue and remove it more than 3 times, it will not stick.
Step 6
When one edge of the film is aligned with the edge of the screen, you can remove the rest of the protective sticker. Take your time, shoot gradually, from top to bottom. You need to do this: when one edge is glued, continue the process on top of the screen. This way you can help the film stick with your finger without touching the screen.
Step 7
Walk to the bottom of the display. When you stick the film, bubbles may appear on it. To avoid this, gradually and very carefully smooth out each adhered millimeter of the film during gluing. This will prevent air from entering between it and the screen.
Step 8
If you have not been able to avoid bubbles, try to remove them from there. To do this, you can use a calendar, ruler or credit card. Just swipe the top corner of the display going down. In this case, the air accumulated under the film will escape, and the surface of the screen will remain flat. However, do this carefully so as not to scratch the protective film. Do not use any sharp objects for this purpose - this will damage both it and the display. It is not so difficult to stick a film on a mobile phone, the main thing here is to accurately determine its position on the screen, to do everything efficiently and gradually, not to rush.
