Step 1
Setting up your digital TV to receive the appropriate channels consists of changing the values in your TV's digital tuner. The tuner itself is needed to decode digital TV channels for viewing on TV. There will be a little manipulation, you can handle it.
Step 2
To begin with, you need to remove the cable TV tuner from its packaging and check its integrity. Insert a pair of AA batteries in the correct polarity into the remote control. Connect the cable from the antenna: at its end there is an F-type crimp or screw-on connector to the RF-in (Ant-in), which must be fixed to the input of the patch panel, which is located on the back of the TV tuner.
Step 3
Connect the RCA AV cable between the TV and the tuner. Connection to the tuner and TV connectors must be carried out in accordance with the color markings. Now you need to turn on the TV and digital tuner by switching the desired input, for example, to TV / AV.
Step 4
Select the "Menu" block on the TV tuner remote control, then the "Auto Channel Search" section and "OK". Your tuner will immediately start scanning the channels. When the automatic search is over, you will see a list of found channels on the screen. Press "OK" on the remote control again. To exit the "Main Menu", locate with the cursor the line "Exit" and "OK" or press the "Exit" button on the remote control. The TV tuner will display the channel number on the front panel.
Step 5
You can search for channels manually: select in the "Menu" subsection "Manual channel search". “Reset Channels” function will delete all previous channel settings. You can also sort channels, group lists or transfer a channel to another number. This is done through the "Sort Channels" option. Confirm each innovation with the "OK" button.
Step 6
If you want to watch Electronic Program Guide (EPG), press the "EPG" button on the remote. The screen will show 2 lists: at the top - the list of channels, at the bottom - the list of programs for the selected channel. To move through the list, use the "up" "down" control buttons on the remote control. To exit the EPG menu, press Exit on the remote control.
