Arranging furniture in the kitchen sometimes requires re-hanging the refrigerator door to make it easier to get food out. Store employees can perform this operation before issuing a warranty or special repair services, and you can also try to re-hang the door of the Atlant refrigerator yourself.
Instructions
Step 1
Contact the employees of the store where you buy the Atlant refrigerator. Tell them that you need to hang the door on it. This service will be provided completely free of charge. Then you will be able to receive a warranty certificate with the relevant information. This method can be performed only until the final checkout. Otherwise, the store employees will direct you to the service department, where this service will cost a certain amount of money.
Step 2
Contact the repairman of Atlant refrigerators. Tell him that you need to move the door. Agree on the date of the work and find out the cost of the service. If you do not want to spend money, then you can try to outweigh the door yourself.
Step 3
Empty the refrigerator from all food, remove shelves and drawers. Turn off the device and defrost. After that, you can start repair work. Lay the Atlant refrigerator on the floor with the door upwards, making sure that the upper supports have not moved and the radiator is not damaged.
Step 4
Find the bolts in the grooves that hold the front feet of the refrigerator. Unscrew them and expose the stoppers that secure the pins of the freezer door. Remove them to move the lower door axle to the opposite side. Then remove the freezer door and move the end caps to the other side.
Step 5
Open the refrigerator compartment door to access two screws. By unscrewing them, you can remove the refrigerator mask. Remove the bracket from the upper axle and unscrew it, then move it to the other side. Reposition the plastic plug and replace the refrigerator mask.
Step 6
Press on the latch, which is inside the handle of the Atlant refrigerator, and try to push it out. Care must be taken as this part can easily break. Using a screwdriver, feel the latch inside the device to remove the handle cover. Replace the plugs on the side ends of the refrigerator door and set the handle to the opposite position.
