Citizens of the Russian Federation are obliged to pay annual personal income tax to the budget. Some also have liabilities for taxes such as land, transport and property. Some of them are paid by the employer, and the second independently. As a result, a certain debt may be formed, which can be found out in the IFTS.

Instructions

Step 1

Contact the inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation at your place of residence. Ask for information on tax arrears. The inspector is obliged to provide you with this information upon presentation of your passport and identification code. If you do not want to constantly visit the tax service on this issue, then you can fill out an application for connecting to your personal account on the IFTS website. You will be provided with a login and password to enter.

Step 2

Go to the website of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation https://www.nalog.ru/. Go to the "Personal account of the taxpayer", fill out the login form and click "Login". Here you can see all the information on taxes, as well as the resulting amount of debt. If necessary, the system allows you to generate a payment document, which you can print on your printer or save in electronic form. You can find out information about the debt without registration.

Step 3

Click on the "Electronic Services" section in the top panel of the main page of the IFTS website. Select the item "Find out your debt." Information about this service will appear, which indicates the provisions for finding tax debt. If you are ready to provide all the necessary information about yourself, then click the "Yes, I agree" button.

Step 4

Fill in the "Taxpayer details" field. Enter your identification code, last name, first name, patronymic and region of residence. The last item is selected using the drop-down list. It is also possible to specify several regions if you are not sure for which one you are registered with the tax office. After that, enter the numbers from the picture into the verification field and click the "Find" button.

Step 5

Check out the information provided. If an inscription appears about incorrect data, then go back to the point and double-check the correctness of the specified information about yourself. Perhaps you are mistaken in a letter or number. If the inscription "There is no debt" appears, then you have no debt to the IFTS, otherwise an amount will appear related to a specific tax.
