A cell phone has long ceased to be just a telephone, but has turned into a multifunctional device that can entertain its owner with games, books, movies and music. Samsung Corporation, being one of the leaders in the field of mobile technologies, could not stay away from the multimedia evolution of the cellular device. Users of Samsung mobile technology were able to play Java games by downloading them to their phones using a USB cable.

Instructions
Step 1
Activate the system for downloading Java applications from a PC to a Samsung mobile phone through the standard menu of the device. To do this, dial the service code * # 52828378 #, then select the OTA type setting. At this point, check the box next to Serial bearer OTA.
Step 2
Connect the data cable to your computer via USB. Please note that all necessary drivers must be installed before starting to work with the cable. The operating system of the computer should be able to identify the cell phone stably. Otherwise, it will not be possible to download JAVA applications.
Step 3
Run Softick PPP on your personal computer. In the Settings tab, check the checked port. It should be COM port 7.
Step 4
Activate the Activate PPP item. Wait a while. The inscription "1 device connected" should appear.
Step 5
Now launch a software called Java Uploader. Use the dedicated Add button to select the games you want to download to your Samsung phone on your computer. The added files will be displayed in the program window. After all jad and jar files are marked and ready to download, take your cell phone connected via a data cable to your computer and enter # * 5737425 # to get to the Serial Java menu. Then write down the following sequence of commands: PPP UP - USB - serial download.
Step 6
The Samsung cell phone will start downloading the specified jad and jar files to the Java folder. As soon as the last game is loaded, the mobile phone will automatically launch it. If you do not want to play right away, press the End button. The downloaded games will be available in the Java Games folder.
