The situation is not always conducive to the fact that you have time to adjust the camera before taking any important picture. Sometimes the result of such a rush is the absence of a date in certain photographs. Therefore, we will arm ourselves with the Adobe Photoshop program and put down these dates ourselves.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the program (the author will carry out all the manipulations using the Russified Adobe Photoshop CS5), and then the desired photo: "File"> "Open"> select a photo on your hard disk> "Open". Find the toolbar and right-click on "Text", the icon of which is made in the form of the letter "T". You will see a drop-down menu showing the variations of this tool.
Step 2
Select the first one - "Horizontal Text". Move the cursor to approximately the place on the photo where you would like to see the inscription and click the left mouse button. Enter the required date on the keyboard. The Options panel (located under the File menu by default) contains tools for changing the font, style, size, text color, anti-aliasing method, and other settings that you can use when working with the Type tool. Among others, we can highlight the deformation of the inscription (the icon in the form of the letter "T" and a double-sided arrow under it), which allows you to make the text convex, concave, wavy, etc.
Step 3
If you want the date on the photo to be from top to bottom, use the second variation, Vertical Text. The principle of working with it is the same as with the "Horizontal Text", i.e. you can change the font, size, and so on. To turn text from vertical to horizontal and vice versa, in the Options panel, click On / Off. orientation of the text ".
Step 4
If you are not satisfied with the initial position of the caption, you can move it anywhere in the photo using the Move tool (hotkey - V). To do this, make sure that the text layer is activated. Look at the panel in the lower right corner of the program - the active layer (if it is a layer with text, it will be designated by the letter "T" and have a name corresponding to the inscription) should be highlighted with a dark background.
