By setting the date on your camera, you can later save images on which the day, month, year, and sometimes even the time the picture was taken will be. This function of the camera will allow you to restore the exact date of the shot without extra effort and additional signatures.

Instructions

Step 1

To set the date, take the camera, turn it on and select the date display format using the special buttons in the form of small triangles pointing up and down. These buttons are located directly on the camera body. Unfortunately, not all cameras are equipped with the function of superimposing the date on existing pictures, therefore, you have to set the date on the device itself, and only then insert it into the picture.

Step 2

Once you choose the date format, click the button with the black round sign. This button is a kind of confirmation and consolidation of the previous choice. Next, select each item with the triangular buttons facing left and right and set the numerical values using the triangle buttons facing up and down. Once you finally set the date, click on the black round, confirming its setting.

Step 3

Then select the word "yes" using the triangle button facing right and press the rounds again. At this point, date stamping ends. The set time after midnight will be displayed as 12:00 AM, and after noon, 12:00 PM.

Step 4

If you are viewing pictures on a computer using the ACDSee for Pentax software and the set date is not displayed on the screen, then before enabling this program, select the Signatures item in the View menu. As soon as you do this, you will see the wizard window for configuring the program parameters. In this window, select a header or footer and make the necessary settings to display the date of the capture on the display.
