Step 1
Follow the instructions supplied with the model carefully. Different manufacturers offer different instructions. So, Japanese instructions are hand-drawn. There is practically no text in them, all stages of work are clearly depicted. It is very convenient and understandable. Pictures that require special attention are marked with the word Warning! American and European manufacturers offer voluminous text instructions. Illustrations are used only in cases where they cannot be dispensed with. On the other hand, text instructions explain points that cannot be illustrated. Ask for instructions in advance, even in the store. Choose the model for which you find the instructions most understandable. If you don't understand technical English, you will definitely need a translation. It's good if the instruction in Russian is attached immediately.
Step 2
Use the materials and tools offered by the manufacturer to assemble the model. Do not change the type and size of screwdrivers yourself. Pliers can help you with the assembly, but it is simply not possible to replace all the necessary tools with them. Some key parts and assemblies are usually delivered assembled. Don't try to take them apart!
Step 3
Do not hurry! When assembling a model in a hurry, you risk damaging parts. Do not disturb the assembly order. This can lead to loss of control during operation and even destruction of the model. Do not try to improve or fix the model during assembly. If you are unclear about something, check with the store where you bought the model.
Step 4
Reputable manufacturers of prefabricated models do not skimp on safety, they give maximum information on the assembly and operation of the model. But if something is not clear to you, you can consult with other modelers. It is quite possible that among them you will find like-minded people who collected the same model of the helicopter. Feel free to clarify unclear information during the assembly process.
