When registering an account on a thematic forum, you must enter your email address. E-mail is used to send forum news and when new comments are received in your created topic or replies to your comment. Step 1
An opt-out link is usually provided in every email on behalf of the forum. The message looks like this: "You received this email because you are subscribed to a topic … If you do not want to follow this topic anymore, please visit the following link." After you follow this link, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter on this topic.

You can also unsubscribe from the mailing in another way. Each forum has a Subscribe section. This section is usually located below the message entry window. Most blogs follow the same principle. After entering this section, you will see all the topics to which you have subscribed. There is a mark opposite the signed topics. Uncheck those topics that don't interest you. Then click the "Unsubscribe" button.
Step 3
If you receive letters to your mailbox indicating the topic that you commented on, just go to this topic and add a new message by unchecking the box next to Subscribe to comments or Receive notifications about a change in topic (Notify me when a response has been received).
Step 4
When you click on the link to the forum, you will need to enter your username and password. If you have forgotten the password you entered during registration, click the "Forgot password" button. Instructions for recovering or changing your password will be sent to your mailbox.
