Step 1
Select the appropriate RF amplifier for your radio type. This device is used, as a rule, to increase the power of the station supplied to an external antenna. The amplifier allows you to change the characteristics of the signal without distorting its structure.
Step 2
To connect the amplifier, connect it to the antenna cable so that the device goes into the circuit between the radio station and the external antenna. Use a thick shielded cable to connect the device to the power supply.
Step 3
When installing the amplifier on a car radio, connect the wire to the "plus" of the battery, placing a fuse in front of the terminal. The "negative" wire should be of the same cross-section as the "positive" one, but as short as possible.

Carefully consider the choice of connecting wires. Requires cables of relatively large cross-section, otherwise the voltage in the system may "sink". This is due to the fact that the signal amplifier consumes a large current in the transmission mode. Make sure that the "negative" wire is securely fixed, otherwise its breakage will immediately lead to failure of the transmitting and receiving equipment.

When installing the amplifier, keep in mind that it changes the parameters of the radio signal only when operating in transmission mode. The incoming signal from other respondents will not differ in quality. However, some manufacturers supplement the circuits by allowing the amplifier to process the received signal, but this inevitably increases the interference.
Step 6
After connecting the amplifier, adjust the antenna that will be connected to it. It must always be in good working order and protected from possible mechanical influences. Keep in mind that by pressing the radio intercom button with a damaged antenna or cable, you will most likely be forced to do major repairs later.
