After buying a smartphone based on Android, I found that ordinary headphones for a standard 3.5 mm jack give a very bad sound when listening and recording sound. Then I had to look for a suitable option for a very long time, and, I hope, my experience will be useful to someone.
Instructions
Step 1
It is necessary to inspect the plug, it should have 3 white / black stripes, not 2. Or 4 metal strips (contacts), not 3 - this is a special pin wiring for Android phones.
Step 2
Now you need to choose a headset-microphone on headphones like HandsFree in order to answer a call without taking it out of your pocket.
The headset must be removable so that you can discreetly record sound on a dictaphone (since hanging ears-headphones will immediately give us away!) Such a detachable headset turns an ordinary smartphone into a full-fledged dictaphone!
Moreover, it is worth noting that the headphones that are attached to the headset connector may have 3 contacts, not 4 - this will not be displayed on the sound.
Step 3
Now you need to see if there is a clothespin on the headset. Often in cheaper models there is not a clothespin, but a canopy - it is better to ask the sellers for an additional clothespin for free - for better attachment to clothes, since the hinged headset often moves out at the most inopportune moment.
Step 4
It is also helpful to note if there is a volume control.
