If your Pocket PC has a navigator, you can install maps of certain cities in it yourself, after downloading them from the Internet.
Necessary
access to the Internet
Instructions
Step 1
Update the maps of the navigator of your pocket personal computer using the program specially installed in its menu. Please note that here you will need access to the Internet and an online payment tool if you suddenly need to pay by cards. This may be the case if you are using standard navigation software.
Step 2
You can also download maps in the mode of connecting the device to a stationary computer, after completing the necessary preliminary settings. This is not available for all PDA models, check the details in the instructions supplied with the kit. With this download mode, maps are automatically saved from the Internet to the memory of a pocket personal computer, after which they are ready for use.
Step 3
Install additional software on your Pocket PC to use the navigator, which already includes the maps you need, or you can download and install them for free on your mobile device. Please note that such software is developed separately for models or manufacturers of navigators, so make sure it is compatible before downloading.
Step 4
After installation, update from the program menu, or simply download additional maps of the cities and countries you are interested in from the developer's official website, and then copy them to the appropriate directory of the memory module of your PDA.
Step 5
Before inserting cards into your Pocket PC, make sure that there is enough free memory on the device to fit them on the card or in the PDA's memory. Cards usually take about 1-2 gigabytes of memory, but there are other sizes as well. Also, always check downloadable software and add-ons for viruses and malicious code.
