Instructions
Step 1
Turn on your player and head to the main menu. The equalizer can be made as a separate menu item or hidden in the main settings. Activate it.
Step 2
In some models, the equalizer can be presented as a list of presets - the equalizer settings optimally configured for a particular type of music. In most players, these presets are named according to their purpose. For example, the preset “Rock” with low mids for rock music, “Club” with increased mids, “Hip-hop” with a raised bass and lowered high frequencies.
Step 3
These adjustments are made in order to highlight any instruments or voices from the general mix. In order to start this or that type of playback, you just need to select one of the presets and activate the equalizer in the player.
Step 4
In other models, it is possible to manually adjust the equalizer. In this case, the EQ option is usually represented graphically, most often in the form of 3-9 sliders (bands). Moving the slider (band) up and down edits the reproduction of certain frequencies. If you are a techno fan, try adding some bass and boosting the highs while removing the mids. For pop, by contrast, turn up the mids where vocals would normally be, and pull the pesky low and high frequencies down. If possible, save your settings for future use.
