Modern TVs allow you to watch not only what the TV channels show, but also what you want. Any movie, cartoon or program recorded on a flash card can be played using the installed USB port. You just need to properly activate usb on the TV.
Necessary
- - TV with USB port;
- - a smartphone with an infrared port and the ability to connect to the Internet;
Instructions
Step 1
If you do not have the required smartphone, ask a friend for it. If necessary, promise to pay for an Internet connection, which will take no more than one or two minutes.
Step 2
Download the PsilocIrRemote program to your smartphone. Install it and run the application. Open the phone menu, select AddDevice. Click Refresh to confirm. Wait for a while while the smartphone connects to the Internet.
Step 3
Type in the window (or select, if the program prompts you) "TV". Use the Refresh command again and wait for the update. Enter your TV model (or select from the suggested list)> Refresh. Wait for internet connection and settings update. Select InStart Service menu + EZAdjust. Click Refresh and wait a while again.
Step 4
Select mon, install the required profile. In the phone options, in the Method1 column, specify IRmode. Turn on the installed PsilocIrRemote program.
Step 5
Turn on the TV on which you want to activate usb. On the smartphone, press and hold the 2 key. While doing this, be careful that the infrared port of the phone is pointed at the TV.
Step 6
Wait for the password window to appear on the screen. Put your smartphone aside, you won't need it anymore. Use the remote to enter 0000. In the TV menu, go to ToolOptions 3 and use the keys to set the value to 1 for “EMF” and for “DivX” to HD (use the same switches).
Step 7
Exit the window in which you changed the values (using the return or exit button). Enter the TV menu, there find the newly formed usb submenu. From it now start movies, videos, cartoons from your flash card. You have successfully completed the task of activating the usb on the TV.
